A Little About Us
Selecting a suitable childcare centre for your child is a very personal and important decision that a parent has to make. Our website contains information about or Centre, our practices, Charter and Policies for your consideration.
The Centre functions under a constitution approved by the Parish Council of St Anthony Parish, Mangere Bridge. A Management Committee governs the running of the Centre in accordance with the constitution.
It is important that you are aware of the people who are working with your child and whom you may approach if you have any questions about our Centre.

Childcare Hours
The Centre is open Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm.
Children may be dropped at 7.00am and must be collected before 5.00pm.
In rare circumstances that a parent is delayed in collecting a child, a phone call to the Centre is required and essential.

Our Curriculum
Children should grow up in a family environment, in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding, and in a spirit of peace, dignity tolerance, freedom, equality and solidarity.
St. Anthony Pacific Islands Catholic Childcare Centre aims to provide a Catholic learning experience, whereby children interact with adults and one another to develop their physical, intellectual, social , emotional and moral skills. The curriculum includes all the activities and events that take place in the Centre and visit outside, as well as the attitude of the staff towards the children.
While parents are the primary educator of their children, the quality, healthy relationships the children form with the staff are seen as vital to their education at the Centre, and underpin all the activities in which the children are involved. At the Centre the children will be exposed to a bilingual environment.
